Looking for Love in the Wrong Places!

Why is being single so discouraging? Think about it...

The joys of those happily ever-after tales of love. But everyone knows that’s all they are…fairytales. Instead, the words of the song sung country music’s Johnny Lee are more accurate in today’s society…Lookin’ for love in all the wrong places; lookin’ for love in too many faces….”

By the way, any beautiful woman can turn heads, but very few women can capture a man's heart and become the kind of woman he can't live without. You may be asking yourself this question:” How can I capture his heart and become the woman he can't live without?” then the book I wrote-Seven Simple, Yet Powerful Traits that will Make You Irresistible to Every Man is the book for you. I also believe that becoming part of the God's Daughters Academy will change how you view yourself as woman.

But let’s go back to the words of that song. Obviously we’re not looking in the right places for that special last-a-lifetime kind of love. If we were, many single people go from one relationship to another; investing themselves emotionally, physically and sexually as casually as if they were trying on shoes.

So what’s the deal? Why is being single so discouraging? It’s because you haven’t found the love of your life yet. Well, no kidding, you say! There’s a revelation, right? Yes, as a matter of fact, it is. I did not say it was because you had not found true love in your life. I said it was because you had not found the love of your life…Jesus Christ. That’s right. Before you can truly find and be the kind of mate you want and need to be, you need to find and claim who you are in Christ. You need to give your whole self to him so that he can bless you with the life he created for you to live and the person he created for you to live with. Look at the cross, his arms are wide open for you to experience True love. It's His love that stop you from feeling empty and running in the arms of wrong men that will leave you broken and empty. account of the woman at the well. But this story doesn’t just stop with Jesus calling her on her lack of good judgment and morals when it comes to finding a man. He took the time to tell this woman what her life was missing…him. And he’s telling you the same thing.

So Ladies, in a society that puts so much emphasis on physical appearance and putting your sexuality on display for all to see, we need to remind ourselves that this is not God’s plan for us. God calls you a precious Jewel Proverbs 3:15 are you living like it? Or have you mistaken your identity for mare stones that have no value? If you have never picked diamonds from your backyard then you know how valuable you are... I believe you are worth discovering, please let a man pay the FULL price of marriage to see other parts of your beautiful body. No man is worth losing your dignity for...stick to your morals and values. It is time for us to live the truth that:

  • We are fearfully and wonderfully made by God

  • God made us for the purpose of complimenting and bringing out the best in a man and he in us

  • It doesn’t take cleavage, short skirts and flawless makeup to make us attractive to a real man

  • Sex is not the way to ‘catch’ a man or keep him

  • God doesn’t want you to settle for anything less than a lifetime deal sealed by ‘I do’

  • A man worthy of calling you his wife will love, honor, respect and acknowledge just how precious and valuable you are

Seven Simple, Yet Powerful Traits that will Make You Irresistible to Every Man enables you to re-discover the true beauty within each and every one of us and teaches you how to let that shine for all to see.
